Yoga: A Fun, Relaxing Activity

A great way to manage stress is to practice Yoga, it is beneficial not only for the body but also

for the mind.


Yoga can be effective in developing coping skills and reaching a more positive outlook on life.

Also, body and self-awareness are beneficial particularly because it helps with the early detection

of physical problems and allow for early preventive action.


Although there are about 100 different types or schools of yoga, most of the sessions include

breathing exercises, meditation, and assuming postures (sometimes called asana or poses) that

stretch or flex various muscle groups. (www.osteopathic.org)
