Tracy Martinez
My name is Tracy Martínez and I am 28 years old. I was born in Long Beach, California to a Mexican mother and a Salvadorean father, this makes me proud of my roots. I am fluently bilingual in both English and Spanish. I was a first generation college graduate and I obtained my bachelor’s degree in Journalism and Mass Communication from Cal State Long Beach.
I have only one sister, her name is Stacy and she is twelve years younger than me. She has become my companion since 2004, and I know that we will always be there for each other. Stacy is my princess and my baby no matter how old she is.
Let me tell you more about myself. I was a quiet girl in school and always sat in the front of the aisle because I wanted to pay close attention to the teachers. Most of the people thought that I was a very shy girl, but the truth is that when I was quiet and paying attention I could focus more on my tasks.
My favorite color is Turquoise blue and the one I dislike the most is black.
My parents and my sister are my strength to keep going. They have taught me to have the courage to overcome any obstacles and to be successful in whatever I want to accomplish. They have been there through thick and thin and without them I wouldn’t be able to move on.

Stacy Vazquez
My name is Stacy Vazquez, and I am 15 years old. I am the youngest of two daughters and am currently in high school. From a young age, I discovered my love for mathematics. My dream is to work in that field. I enjoy reading and writing even though it was never my forte. I took my first Journalism class in freshmen year. Although, It was quite difficult to manage it with my schedule, I enjoyed it. My sister graduated CSULB with a bachelor's in Journalism and finding a job in the field has been extremely difficult for her. I suggested creating our own platform. I was exposed to technology at a young age, so I grew up learning about all the different possibilities one has with a computer. I will be in charge of most of the technological aspects to the website while also writing a few articles. As a student, I've always wanted to share all the advice I learned throughout my life. I hope to write helpful articles and help someone out.
My favorite color is purple and my favorite artist is the Kpop boy group, BTS.
I love music, and I play the violin. Staying motivated hasn't been easy for me, but I know I have to keep going. I take it one day at a time, and I try my hardest at everything.
