The TV Show Tu Cara Me Suena has been put on hold due to four out of the eight contestants testing positive for COVID-19.

Tu Cara Me Suena is a TV show by Univisión, in which eight contestants transform and play a different famous star each week. The show is hosted by Ana Brenda Contreras and Rafael Araneda. The eight contestants are ranked each week by four judges: Angelica Vale, Jesús Navarro, Kany Garcia, and Charytín Goyco. The judges have to give scores from 3-10 to each contestant. However, no two contestants can get the same score. So, only one contestant can be scored a ten. After each judge gives their score, they give the contestant feedback, and the contestant's scores are added up. Each contestant can also give two points to another contestant to help them improve their score.

The show's production team has done everything they can to keep its participants as safe as possible. The show does not have a live audience. The judges sit six feet away from each other and are protected by plexiglass. The contestants are asked to use hand sanitizer before touching anything and the staff is asked to wear masks.

After the first show, participant Llane tested positive for COVID-19. He was asked to stay home and performed virtually. Eventually, Chantal Andere, Melina León, and Sandra Echeverría also tested positive.

The show will be on pause. until the contestants have fully recovered. Rafael Araneda, host of the show, has stated that they are prioritizing everyone's safety, and that they won't continue the show until everything goes back to normal.
