Reflective Sundays: When you Start Seeing your Worth, you'll find it Harder to Stay Around People...

when you start seeing your worth, you'll find it harder to stay around people who don't.

This quote is absolutely true. In fact, most people look at and judge themselves based on what they believe other people think of them. People tend to take others' opinion as more important than their own. When people are in a toxic situation / environment, they will try to change themselves to fit rather than leaving and finding something better.

Many struggle with self-esteem issues and insecurities. People need to start seeing their worth. Everybody is worth so much no matter what their race, age, sexual preference, gender identity, disabilities, religion, and personality are.

The first step to leave from a toxic situation into a better environment is that the victim recognizes that they deserve better and shouldn't be around people who make them think otherwise. Then they should cut those ties and/or ask for help if necessary.
