On August 31st the British will commemorate another mournful anniversary of Princess Diana’s death. It has been 22 years since the “people’s princess” died. Her tragic death is something that will continue to be talked about as time passes.

Going back to the night of August 31, 1997 Princess Diana was in Paris, France with her partner Dodi Fayed when they got inside the Mercedes- Benz W140 and their chauffeur Henri Paul was driving them into a Paris tunnel. They were not alone, the Princess's bodyguard was accompanying them. As they drove through the tunnel, paparazzi were following them because they wanted to get the best images of the couple.

Additionally, Henri Paul was driving at high speed and allegedly intoxicated with anti-depressants and anti-psychotic in his blood could have been the cause of him losing control of the vehicle. It was found on the investigation that none of the four occupants were wearing a seat belt.

After all, Princess Diana was still alive when she was taken to the hospital, a few hours later she was proclaimed dead.

Finally, Princess Diana’s death left a sad mark on Great Britain and the world because she was loved by everyone, but after so many years she is still popular and that makes her unforgettable.
