The time is coming, Halloween is just around the corner.

A good way to spend a spooky night with your family is watching an scary movie called Kilómetro 31 (kilometer 31).

This is a 2006 Mexican supernatural horror film which was written and directed by Rigoberto Castañeda. The film is inspired on the “Crying Woman” (La Llorona) and legends about highway ghosts.

The movie was filmed in Desierto de Los Leones, Estado de México, México.

What is the Plot?

Agata, had a terrible car accident on a wooded road near Mexico City and she goes into coma. Her identical twin sister Catalina, starts to experience the pain and terror her comatose sister is going through.

Catalina must do the intent of solving the mystery of her sister’s car accident next to the km. 31 marker and there she discovers a local legend. The legend consists of malignant spirits prowling the road and are said to prey on the travellers.

After a series of terrifying events, Catalina realizes that her bond with her sister is growing stronger and Agata in her unconscious state is screaming for help.

This writer will not spoil the end of the movie.
