COVID-19 is just here to stay longer than expected. This pandemic doesn’t care if someone is poor or rich, famous or not, it has a big impact.
Soccer “star” Cristiano Ronaldo tested positive for the COVID-19. He was isolated from the national team from the match against the Sweden, last Tuesday when the results of the test came out to the public news.
According to an AP news article, Cristiano has no symptoms. The national’s team coach,
Fernando Santos said, “He is asymptomatic, he has no problems. He doesn’t even know how this happened to him.” (www.apnews.com)
Days passed since the news, and Cristiano’s team Juventus, posted a photo on both Twitter and Instagram showing him and the rest of the Portugal squad having a meal together. All of the players were close to each other on the table and smiling Ronaldo was apparently the one taking the photo. (www.apnews.com)
This past Friday, the Portugese soccer player on an Instagram live confirmed that he was doing
fine, despite testing positive for COVID-19. Additionally, the player from Juventus and
Portugal National Team declared that he did not violate any protocol or Italian law in the
moment he had to leave the country and then going back, to join his national team in the past

In conclusion, COVID-19 has a long way to end and it is important to keep taking care of
ourselves and staying safe.
