방탄소년단 or, most commonly known as, BTS is a Korean Pop Boy Group with fans all over the world. Their fandom, ARMY, is known for streaming their music videos and breaking the 24-hour Debut Youtube View Record.
Youtube recognizes Artists who gain record viewership within 24 hours of the video's release. This is not the first time BTS breaks the record. They also broke the record with their music videos for DNA, Fake Love, Idol, and Boy With Luv.
On August 21, 2020, BTS released the music video for their first ever English single, Dynamite. Dynamite recorded over 101 million Youtube views within the first 24 hours.
The record was held by the other Kpop Girl Group, Blackpink. They had broken Boy With Luv's record with over 86 million views.
BTS has not only been recognized by Youtube. They were awarded the Billboard Music Award for Top Social Artist in the years 2017, 2018, and 2019. They have also received one of the American Music Awards.
BTS is an influential group too. They launched their Love Myself campaign and have even spoke at the UN. BTS is a record-breaking Kpop Boy Group with a lot more to give. They are planning on releasing another album this fall, and the ARMY can't wait.
